
Santo Domingo. The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac) celebrated the XV anniversary of Dominican Republic Civil Aviation Law No. 491-06, legislation that creates the governing body in charge of regulates the national aeronautical activity.
With a eucharist and an offering at the homeland altar tribute was paid to legislation that governs the civil aeronautic in the Dominican Republic, This act of commemoration were headed by IDAC sub director, Héctor Porcella,and by Idac legal direction, in the figure of its director, Bernarda Franco and the National Regulation and Registration of Aircrafts director , Franklin Reyes.
“Today it is commemorated a very special day, because 15 years ago the Dominican Republic performanced a take off , and that take off has never had a decline.Thanks God the Dominican Republic ha continued ascending after enactment of the law that governs us ,and thanks to this law,we may proudly say that we have category 1, the primary category to be able to connect with others nations and being recognized to international level”, expressed Héctor Porcella, Idac’s general sub subdirector, during the act performanced in the homeland altar.
“This aeronautical normative was the result of effort of many anonymous heroes,that worked hardly and with enthusiasm to achieve the approval of this law, which disposition grant the necessary empowering to aeronautical authorities to watch por the operational security accomplishment of civil aviation”, claimed Bernarda Franco, Idac’s legal director , in the solemn commemorative eucharist.
The aeronautical sector enjoys of a duly structure legislation in accordance with the disposition of the Chicago agreement and effectively accomplished according the international standards.
During the commemoratives events IDAC was accompanied by,Airport Department ,the Specialized Body in Aeronautical Security and Civil Aviation (CESAC), lawyers collaborators in the development of this law, airlines reprepresentatives, associations of aeronautical sector, among others officers.
Eucharisty was officiated by father Francisco Alberto Caraballo de Jesús, vicar of the military cathedral of Santa Bárbara.
