Turkish Delegation expose to Idac their interest in connecting with civil aviation in DR

Santo Domingo. The general director of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation Idac, Héctor Porcella, received in his office a commission of the Atreus Group, based in Turkey and with operations in the field of aviation and other business areas in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Porcella explained that Mr. Serkan Yazicioglu, president of Odin Aviation; and Cem Yazici, general manager AF Travel, showed interest in extending their commercial and business activities to the Dominican Republic, in view of the growing dynamism of its aeronautical activity, the strategic position in the American continent and the guarantees of legal security offered by the Government of President Luis Abinader.

He said that the representatives of the Atreus Group received all the required guidance and Idac’s commitment to support any project linked to civil aviation that meet the country’s legal system, especially those referred to strategic areas of national development, such as the aeronautical sector.

Porcella recalled that last July he also received in his office the ambassador of Turkey in the Dominican Republic, Yesim Kebapcioglu, with whom he evaluated the potential for exchange and cooperation between the two countries.

He said that for the Dominican Republic it is of special satisfaction the interest in investment and business issues showed by representatives of a country that, like Turkey, is a benchmark for international tourism, since it is currently the fourth tourist power in the world, due to the number of visitors it receives annually.
