Porcella greets the 38th Regional Meeting of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Associations

Santo Domingo.- The interin general director  of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, spanish: Idac, Héctor Porcella, greeting the celebration in the country of the  38th Regional Meeting of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Association, spanich: Ifatca, that it will be congregating representants from  18countries of American continent and Europe since Thursday October  18.

The meeting that will take place, in Punta Cana  touristic community, it is organized by the  Ifatca and by the Dominican Association of Air Traffic Controllers spanish: Adca,with the Idac´s support, Civil Aviation Joint, Airport Department, Punta Cana Group, Arajet , Air Team Solutions and Sky High Aviation Services.

Porcella affirmed that activity is of special significance because it is about reviewing a whole of proposals and experience oriented to strengthen the technification process and operational safety in the ambit of civil aviation since air transit perspective.

 Adca president, Alberto Santana, met with Porcella to deliver the official program of the meeting and to confirm his participation in the event opening ceremony, that it will take place in Hard Rock Punta Cana hotel.

Santana highlighted that the fast recovery of air traffic in the Dominican Republic after epidemic impact of Covid-19 influenced to Ifactca decided to choose the country as the seat to the meeting in the country.

Among the countries that will meet are United States, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Curacao, Panamá, Costa Rica, México, Jamaica, Bahamas, Trinidad y Tobago, Bermuda, Santa Lucia, Honduras, Spain, Europe and the Dominican Republic as the host country.
