Igor David Rodríguez Durán

Born on December 18, 1973, in Puerto Plata, the son of Manuel David Rodríguez and Licelot Durán de Rodríguez, married to Milli Margarita Núñez Cruz, he is the father of Milly Licelot Rodríguez Núñez and Líah Marie Rodríguez Núñez.

He began his early education at the Colegio Hermanas Pierret, completing his secondary education with a bachelor’s degree in Science and Literature from the Colegio San Felipe Apóstol. He holds a degree in Systems and Computer Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). He has earned three master’s degrees in areas such as Business Administration, Software Engineering, and Logistics Management from the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). He is also a private pilot and has completed programs and diplomas that support his training, including the Public Management Leadership Program from Barna Management School.

He has spent more than 24 years in the private sector, where he held various management positions, before joining the government as Vice Minister of Administration and Finance of the Presidency on August 16, 2020. Starting in January 2024, he was appointed by President Luis Abinader as Administrative Minister of the Presidency on an interim basis, until July of the same year.
