Internationals DR Notam offices and Honduras sign operational Agreement letter

Tegucigalpa, Honduras.- The interim  general director of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Idac, Héctor Porcella and the executive director of the Centro America Corporation Services of Air Navigation,  Cocesna, Juan Carlos Trabanino, in representation of international offices Notam, Notice to Airman, o Notificación al Aviador, of the Dominican Republic and  the centroamerican country,signed an operational agreement letter,about contingency plans for the Car/Sam regions, Caribbean/Southamerica, in support of the conclusion 12/99 of the regional planning group of the Caribbean and SouthAmerica, Grepecas. 

Through this operational agreement letter, Notam offices of the Dominican Republic and   Honduras  plan to guarantee an efficient and ininterrupted service  with the possibility to asume this service when requested by any of these dependencies,therefore common efforts will be applied to guarantee a closer and fast coordination. 

The document states, besides, that in a contingency Nof, Notam international office, the following responsability it will be fulfilled : the part corresponding to Dominican Republic should report by the fastest and  possible way to the Air Navigation Direction, Dina, that it is declared in a contingency state, especifying the type  of eventuality. 

Likewise,  the office manager of  Notam Dominican Republic  will requests by Email, telephone or by the most expeditous means possible to the chief/especialist Aim, Aeronautical Information Management or Gestión de la Información Aeronáutica, or failling that to the office  manager on duty Notam internacional of Cocesna. 

Likewise, could activate the procedure contained in the said agreement, following the pointed specs in the Contingency Plan  Notam Dominican Republic and it will pass copy of such request to Notam internacional office  of Cocesna. 

By its side,Notam internacional office of Tegucigalpa,once the communication is received from  the Dominican Republic will give acknowledgment of receipt to the  request  completed and it will emit the first notification to that request , informing to the stakeholders about the  beginning  of the contingency in the Fir, Fly Information Region, Santo Domingo, according with the received text. 

Another of the agreement points establish that  Notam internacional office in  Honduras will assume that time and date agreed that issuance and disclosure of all notification, as requesteds by Notam office in the Dominican Republic. 

With this new agreement, in this new Idac administration, ties  continues to tighten both national and international with institution linked to civil aviation,aiming to consolidate its presence and recognition in matters of operational safety in the region. 

In the operational agreement letter participated, besides Héctor Porcella, interim general director of Idac, Claudia Roa, Air Navigation director; José A. Pérez Pérez, in charge of Aim and  Francisco Gabirondo Barinas, in charge of  Notam Internacional division. 

To the  Cocesna executive director, Juan Carlos Trabanino, were accpmpanied by  Roger Pérez,  senior ACNA manager; Víctor Andrade,  Operation manager and  Jenny Lee,  Aim chief.
