Montreal, Canadá. The Superior Academy of Aeronautical Sciences (ASCA),academy body of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC), received the recertification that accredits as a Regional Center of Excellence in Instruction (RTCE) grants by International Civil Aviation Organization (OACI).

This recertification was delivered by the general secretary of the ICAO-OACI Juan Carlos Salazar to the ASCA director , Clara Fernández, during the recent visit of the officer to the headquarters of international character.
As IDAC training entitity ASCA reaffirms its commitment with the excellence in aeronautical forming and its interest in keep working in a cohesive way with the OACI , aiming to boost in a significative way the aeronautical training in the region.
In the document delivery act, participated too by OACI side, directors of technical Cooperation offices and Global Training , Julio Peña y Diego Martínez, respectively,and representing the ambassador of the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic to the OACI attended Camila Moya.
ASCA was certified as a Regional Center of Excellence in Instruction in the year 2015, becoming in the first center with this category in the region.
