Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac), welcomes the start of the National Census of Population and Housing organized by the National Statistic Office providing special measures to its staff around the country to answer the 67 question consigned in the registration form.

Idacs interim general director, Héctor Porcella, informed that is instructing to sector directors to coordinate the labor agenda so that all employees have the facilities to make direct contact with enumerators, in case that the couple or a family member can not be present at home.
Porcella recognized that the One stablished logistics offers all the facilities to dominicans may participate in the census, since its application it will be carried out during 14 consecutive days,two weekend included.
He pointed that when families members are not present at home, in a first visit, the enumerators have instructions to set appointments to return in an agreed date.
“In IDACs, that we have a staff that must alternates to cover a 24/7 service in strategic areas of ports and aeronautical activity, we are ensuring that those collaborators have the facilities to be at home, as long as it is essential, since another family member is not present at home”, pointed Porcella.
The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation as a rector institution of national aeronautical sector has a staff of more than 2000 employees distributed in the National District where its central office operates, and around cities with airport and airdrome services all over the country.
