Idac summoned three abandonned aircrafts owner in José Francisco Peña Gomez international Airport

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Spanish: Idac, summoned  to three parked aircrafts owner in Las Americas  Jose Francisco Pena Gomez International Airport to remove it in a period of  30 days ,after completing the legal applicable process in case of abandonned for more than  180 days in an airport terminal. 

According with the legal summoned, the abandonned aircrafts have more than  180 days without performance  any kind of operation for which their corresponding  registration had been canceled, as provided  in articles 100 and  of numbered law 101 of numbered law 491 of Civil Aviation. 

 IDAC indicates that the canceled registration correspond to the equipment  that were registered in th national aircraft register with the registration  HI 977, manufactured by Boeing Company, model DC-9-87, series number 49845; HI 978, manufactured by  Boeing Company, model DC-9-87, series 49780; and  HI989, manufactured by  McDonell Douglas, model MD-83, series No.49568. 

To accomplish with the dispositions in the dominican aeronautical legislation established, IDACs management has proceeded to publish in a newspaper of national circulation a warning  for the aircrafts  owner   to be aware of the cited aircraft. 

Unclaimed  aircrafts that remains abandonned in the airport facilities, they will  thus become  property of the dominican  state and they will be sold by  IDAC in an aution thru  the General Direction of National Assets.
