
Santo Domingo. – During the “Flying High” event, which is part of the Dominican Aviation Week 2024, the Human Resources department of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Idac, recognized the loyalty (time in the institution) and the spirit of improvement of 365 employees.
Those selected for this new edition were, in the fidelity part, 27 five-year-olds; 53, 10 years old; 98, 15 years old; 138, 20 years old; 18, 25 years old; 18, 30 years old; eight, 35 years old; and one, 40 years old; in the line of improvement, they recognized the effort of 8 collaborators.
The general director of Idac, Igor Rodríguez Durán, recognized the commitment, discipline and dedication to work of the recognized collaborators and urged those who were not included in the list, to remain firm in their work and continue to put the greatest effort in each of the functions assigned to them.
“You, with your daily commitment, are the engine that drives our flight towards a better future. In these first 100 days of management, we have traced a clear route. We set out to transform not only the way we work, but also the way we serve our nation,” Rodríguez Durán said.
In addition, the head of Idac added that, thanks to its hard work, the institution has made significant progress, strengthening processes, optimizing resources and establishing the foundations of a more efficient, inclusive and transparent aviation system.
In the same order, the director general said that aviation is not only a means of transportation, it is also a bridge that connects destinations, that promotes economic development and is a door that opens opportunities for all.
“Thanks to their effort, we have shown that when we work as a team, there is no goal that we cannot achieve. We want to continue building an institution that values and empowers its people, because we know that a motivated and recognized team can achieve what may be impossible for many.”
Maribel López Llano, director of Human Resources of Idac and coordinator of the selection team of the 365 recognized collaborators, thanked them for the effort they put in every day, so that the institution continues to be an example of excellence in the region and a source of pride for the Dominican Republic.
