Santo Domingo. – The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC) received recognition, this time, for promoting the value of Meritocracy and fostering equal opportunities and development based on the performance of its employees, during the National Campaign for Integrity in Public Administration 2025, “Dominican Republic Without Corruption,” organized by the General Directorate of Government Ethics and Integrity (DIGEIG), in its fifth edition.
“This recognition reaffirms our commitment to ethics, governmental integrity, and transparency, fundamental pillars for strengthening citizen trust and building a fairer and more efficient public administration,” emphasized the Deputy Director General of IDAC, Paola Aimée Plá Puello.
The Director General of DIGEIG, Milagros Ortiz Bosch, encouraged all state agencies to focus on all the categories recognized during this award, and especially on those related to the fight against corruption, a topic that has been recurrent in the speeches of President Luis Abinader.

Along with IDAC, other institutions were recognized, such as the Airport Department, the Commission for the Promotion of the Technification of the National Irrigation System, the Civil Aviation Board (JAC), the General Directorate for the Beautification of Roads and Avenues, among others.
In addition to Ortiz Bosch, who presided over the event, the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Andrés Bautista; the Director General of Budget, José Rijo Presbot; and the Comptroller General of the Republic, Félix Antonio Santana García, attended.
