
Santo domingo North,- Joaquín Balaguer International Airport.- The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac) announced the launching of a new method of payment with cards to facilitate the services relationships with users of the institution part.
During an activity performance in the Joaquín Balaguer airport, Idacs interim general director, Héctor Porcella explained that the initiative respond to the necessity of users services ,but does not replace the conventional channels that already exist to the payment of the aeronautical taxes, that will continue to operate according the established procedure.

“This new mechanism respond to an old heart felt needs by parts of our users that include a professional segment constituted by pilots of the aeronautical park of the country, and the growing registration of student from the Superior Academy of Aeronautical Sciences (Asca)”, pointed Porcella.
He stated that the card payment system was implanted for a team of Idacs Financial Direction, under the coordination of his bearer Abel Taveras, pursuant an agreement with Cardnet signature.
“In this age in which technology plays a very important role and digital payment tool as are credits cards and debits and transferences, in addition to simplifying the payment, there is not risks of carrying cash, which is a contribution to citizen security”, remarked Porcella.
He remembered Idac offers several services, as issuance and renovation of pilots licences, technical courses through Asca, aiming to nationals citizen as internationals, so digital payment solve a problem to service user, making unnecessary the use of messengers to cash transportation, saving time to secure transparency and confidence in the institution operations.

Cardnet vice president, Carlos Jiménez, who subscribed the agreement jointly with Porcella, pointed that the new way of payment its aiming to provide efficiency and agility to the services Idac provides.
“From now on, el Idac will be able to transparent in a dynamic way the admittance with credits and debits cards, with the services offer to the users”, pointed Jiménez.
The Idacs financial director, Abel Taveras, thanked the support of Idacs general direction by implementing the new way of payment and assured that these procedures will represent an important contribution to the aeronautical family sector in the country.
