
SANTO DOMINGO-The General Director of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation and the Executive Director of the Dominican Organzation Of Accreditations, Odac, Angel David Taveras Difo, signed and Institutional Colaboration Agreement with the goal of verify the Carbon monoxide emission Co2 of the aerial tour operator along the national territory.
IDAC, will develop a set of rule to recognize the Odac accreditations within the accreditation schemes,while Odac will create a scheme that allow the accreditation of validation bodies and/or national or international that accomplish with the requirement contents in the regulation ISO14065:2013 entitled “Green House Gases”.
With the execution of the of this agreement signature,we will be establishing a frame of a reciprocal colaboration and cooperation between both entities that may allows our tour operators may gain access to accredited verifiers by Odac ‘s side, pursuant of the international requirements, under the Iso regulation 14065:2013 about “Greenhouse Gases” Pointed Caamaño.
The General Director of Idac, added that the compliance of those requirements is a most for those organism that performance the validation and the verification of the effects of those green houses gases.with the final purpose to present a report of trustworthy transparent emissions in accordance with the aforementioned standard.
In that sense, Taveras Difoe praised the Idac Direction for the important step given as a regulator entity of aerial space of the Dominican Republic through which it will remain to each one of the institutions and aviations business enterprises lined up regarding to greenhouses gas topic.

We as Odac institution, will be pending and aware, hand to hand with you obviously cause you are the one who know the operators, so they may get their certifications and can operate properly.
We feel grateful for this event ,not only because of us at present time, but for the upcoming generations that won’t be dealing with the with the issue of greenhouse gas.-Held Taveras Difoe.
The General Director expressed that the Covid-19 Pandemia, delayed severals plans,but nowaday we started a labor between both entities that will allow to reach our respectives institutionals purposes.
Through exchange, coordination capacity building so the Dominican Republic can reach the Central governments goal under the leadership of President Luis Abinader, which recognizes that the management of the international civil aviations emissions contributes positively to the binding commitments established with the Dominican State signature of the Paris agreement on climate change.
In the agreements signature, were by Idac’s side, besides its General Director, Hector Porcella Vice Director, Bernarda Franco, Legal Director, Miguel Mejia Sostained Development Director` ,
Priscilla Camarena Comunications and Public relationships, Jasmin Fabré, in charge of Interinstutional Relationships and Judith Leon in charge of Department of sustained Development. The Executive Director of Odac, was accompanied, Technical Director, Leiny Jaquez, Legal Director, Pedro Ferrer in charged of Accreditations and Certifications.
