
Santo Domingo. The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac) obtained 100 points in the evaluation of the first quarter of 2023, for its compliance with the standards of integrity and transparency, according to a report by the General Directorate of Ethics and Government Integrity (Digeig).
The information was formally communicated to the interim general director of Idac, Héctor Porcella, by the director of the Digeig, Milagros Ortiz Bosch, who highlighted the high levels of compliance registered in the entity’s transparency portal during the first quarter of 2023. The evaluation was carried out by the Directorate of Transparency and Open Government of the Digeig.
Dr. Ortiz Bosch explains that, as the governing body in matters of Transparency and Free Access to Public Information, the DIGEIG carries out monthly evaluations to the transparency divisions of the portals of public institutions, in accordance with General Law 200-04 of Free Access to Public Information.
Upon receiving the report, Porcella celebrated the recognition and congratulated Idac´s staff for making possible the compliance with the standards of integrity and transparency that the government headed by President Luis Abinader has put in place since the first day of his administration.
“Once again, Idac is placed in a privileged place in the fulfillment of its institutional obligations, as certified by the gold awards received in 2022 within the framework of the Quality Week carried out by the Ministry of Public Administration (Map), specifically the Caf+300 Seal corresponding to the Level of Excellence as a guarantee of the correct implementation of the Common Evaluation Framework Excellence Model”, in the institutions of the State; and the Nortic Gold Award 2022, a recognition given to public institutions for efforts made in support of the institutional strengthening of the Dominican State,” said Porcella.
