
Santo Domingo.- The Director General (i) of Idac, Héctor Porcella, received in his office the young Rosmairy Díaz, meritorious student of the polytechnic Our Lady of Perpetual Help, of San Isidro, favored with a contribution from Vice President Raquel Peña to study Aeronautical Sciences at the Florida Institute of Technology.
The young woman had published in a national newspaper that, due to lack of resources to assume some costs, she was about to lose a half scholarship that due to her high academic indexes had been granted by the Florida Institute of Technology (Fit) to study the aeronautical specialty.
The Vice President was interested in the case and agreed to offer economic support to Rosmairy to meet her immediate needs, while also suggested the intervention of the general director of Idac, that will assume part of the budget of stay of the young woman as part of its institutional commitment to support the training of technical personnel and human resources demanded by the remarkable development of civil aviation in the country under the management of President Luis Abinader.
