The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac) informs the cancellation of six scheduled flies arriving the country on friday december 23th from several cities of Canada and the United States,due to strong winter storm that hits a wide territorial of both north American nations.
Its about flies 2507 of Wetjet, from Toronto bound to Puerto Plata; 475 de Sunwing, from Ontario to Punta Cana; 421 Sunwing, from Toronto to Punta Cana; fly 81 of Frontier airlines, from Chicago-Punta Cana; fly 2536 of Jet Blue, Nueva York – Santiago; fly 2377 of Wetjet, from Calvary to Punta Cana.
Also has been delay in other flies that were supposed to arrive to Las Americas Internacional airport José Francisco Peña Gómez, according to an inform issued by the Idacs interim general director, Héctor Porcella.
