
Interim general director of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Idac, Héctor Porcella informed that the Punta Cana international airport resumed its flies operations,after its temporal closure due to the Fiona Hurricane, and is also operating normally las Americas international airport.
Porcella explained that Idac had recommended the suspension of operations in Punta Cana terminal due to hurricane Fiona passage,but the arrival of an international fly marked the resumption of the operations.

Nevertheless,he clarified that still flies since and to the airports of Arroyo Barril in Samana and La Romana are suspended,as it go decreasing the effects generated by the hurricane operations will be resuming in the others air terminals that has to be closed.
The Punta Cana international airport its the country main terminal when reffering to passanger movement , mainly charter flies operations , followed by Las Americas international airport José Francisco Peña Gómez.
