
Santo Domingo.-Interim general director of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Idac, Héctor Porcella, greeted the 212 aniversary of the beginning of Mexico Independence and affirmed that the Dominican Republic has special reasons to thanks and appreciate the bonds of solidarity and friendship that always has united both countries.
When participating in the commemorative ceremony of Mexico Homeland date,celebrated in Queretaro Plaza,attached to Idac’s heaquarters, Porcella proclaimed in front of Mexico ambassador, Carlos Miguel Aysa Gonzalez, that: “we dominicans owe a debt of gratitude with azteca people for its consistent gestures of solidarity in crucials moments of our history”.
Remembered that during the Trujillo dictatorship era, Mexico always practiced an open doors politic for dominican political exiled, besides that they condemned the military intervention of the Interamerican Peace Force of the 1965 year.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Aysa González, deposited a floral offering in the Mexico Independence heroes monument, in Queretaro Plaza, where they were also present the principals mexican delegation officers, deputy general commander of the Dominican Republic navy, Henry Guzmán Taveras; foreign affairs viceministers Jose Julio Gómez and Denise Cabral Núñez; and Idac’s areas directors, among other personalities.

After the formal ceremony, the Ambassador and the rest of the invited shared a toast offered by the interim general director of Idac, Hector Porcella, jointly with the principals officers of the institution.
