Dozens of Idac staff after the intense cleaning day at Barahona beach held on Saturday, October 4, fulfilling the institution’s Social Responsibility Program, led by the Communications Director, Claudio Martínez Turbí.
This Saturday, October 4th, in compliance with the Social Responsibility Program, the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Idac, carried out a Coastal Cleanup Day in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Barahona, with the support of provincial authorities and the institution’s staff.
This area of Barahona beach, overloaded with all kinds of waste, was left spotless by the Idac staff during a cleaning campaign held on Saturday, October 4.
Fulfilling the commitment to social responsibility and environmental protection, Idac personnel and local authorities managed to collect 56 bags of waste and 35 sacks containing metal, plastics, and bottles.

Among the authorities who participated were the mayor of Barahona, Milton Emilio Fernández; the representative of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, David Lopez; and for Idac, the Communications Director, Claudio Martinez Turbí.
