Santo Domingo. The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac) certified the operators of Gregorio Luperon International Airport in Puerto Plata and Casa de Campo en La Romana, managed by Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom) y Airport Management Services (Ams), respectively, in compliance with the established in the article 174 of the Civil Aviation law 491-06, modified by the law 67-13.
The certification of the aforementioned operators of the internationals airports was in charge of Idac’s general subdirector Héctor Porcella, representing general director general Román E. Caamaño, who hightlighted the impotance to accomplish with the regulations contained in the civil aviation law arranged by the International Civil Aviation Organization Icao (Oaci).
“It is of great satisfaction to the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation to meet ourselves in the delivering of these certificates to the International airport of La Romana Punta Cana and Gregorio Luperon Puerto Plata. These documents are a commitment with the Oaci and with the summit performed in Puerto España, Trinidad and Tobago in the year 2014, hightlighting that with these two certification the dominican State have achieved to accredit most international airports ”, pointed Porcella.
The officer added that to complete the certificated aiport list, it is only missing airport María Montez of Barahona, that is found in the final phase to achieve this step,pointing out at this time that these procedures are performanced persuant the normatives of the Dominican aeronautical regulations (Rad) in their numerals 14 y 19.
“These process are merely technical to the strengthening of the operational safety and the aerodrome operators have assumed their responsability, integrating an action plan planned, timed and budgeted, to execute to correct the noncomformity founded”, pointed.
To the certificated delivery act assisted: Mónika Infante, Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (AERODOM) Ceo; Carlos Rodoli Conde, director of north cluster irports (Aerodom); Samuel Jiménez Martínez, corporative manager of Operational Security and Airport Certifications (Aerodom); Ramona Pérez López, Operation manager , Gregorio Luperon Internatoional Airport , Puerto Plata (Aerodom).
Besides , Luis Rodríguez Amiama, administrator and Milcíades Castillo, director of Operations of the International Airport of La Romana, Casa de Campo.
The Idac’s general subdirector was accompanied by Gender Castro, Survilliance director of Operational Security and Priscilla Camarena, director of Comunication and Public Relations .
