Santo Domingo.- With the commitment to maintain operational and technical criteria severely strict to guarantee the operational security,Quality and excellence,The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC) celebrated this monday december 7 the International Day of Civil Aviation, with a wreath at the altar of the fatherland and a solemn Eucharist in the military cathedral in Santa Bárbara.
During the Eucharisty officiated for the father Milcíades Florentino, the progress made,was highlighted by the aeronautical national sector that celebrates its international day united and strengthened, with a highly qualified personal that works with responsability to shield operational security and protect the users of air transport lives.
The aeronautical authorities took advantages about the date to renew their commitment to foment the security, busting the institutional strengthen,to protect the environment and to accomplish the international standars of Operational Security established by the Organization of International Civil Aviation (Oaci).
The operational security and the protection of civil aviation,has been, and always been, our main priority, we must accomplish the rules to the steps to the letter” precised Claudia Roa, Idac Air Navigation director, the C rule ,who togueter to officers and representative of aeronautical sector participated in the commemoratives acts of such a date established in 1994 in the frame of commemoratives activities in the centenary of the Organization of International Civil Aviation (Oaci), and proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1996.
“We, the men and women that integrated IDAC, toguether our general director Dr. Román E. Caamaño, we make the occasion propitiuos to celebrate this Eucharisty in action of grace to life creator, for providing us health , inteligence and necessary skill to exercise our delicate functions with excellence, specially to who we have on our shoulders the enormous responsability to guarantee the most precious of all ,the human life”,expressed Claudia Roa,the first woman to occupy The Direction of Air Navigation.
This date congregated to differents institution actors in aeronautical sector that celebrate too the XV aniversary of law promulgation 491-06, which arranged a rearrangement of responsible civil aviation entities in the country.
