With the presence of the President of the Republic, Luís Abinader, First Lady Raquel Arbaje and more than 20 institutions, the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Idac, celebrated Family Day at the Combat Pavilion of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.
The Ministry of Sports and Recreation, Miderec, hosted the event organized by the Family Cabinet, where the administrative director of Idac, Izzet Sansur, represented the general director, Héctor Porcella in the traditional meeting that every year brings together the aeronautical family and this year brought together other institutions.
The Minister of Sports, Francisco José Camacho, highlighted the importance of “inserting young people in sports and recreational activities and reinforcing their education for a better future of the country, when a family has a good education, the future is assured.
During the event there were artistic activities of dances, a children’s show and the entertainment of the National Police orchestra, whose families also enjoyed the meeting.

Those present were able to visit the tents of the different institutions that provided services, such as Idac that presented an exhibition and exhibition of drones.
A large security device also guaranteed security inside and outside the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center that they shared without any worries.
The organizers designated one of the main internal roads of the capital’s Olympic Center as a “health street”, where the tents of the institutions related to this important area such as the National Health Service were installed.
The hosts of Miderec enabled a large parking area to receive visitors who will arrive to celebrate National Family Day together, which had been prepared for November 18 of
last year, but due to the atmospheric phenomenon that affected the country it had to be postponed to this Saturday, January 20, 2024
