Santo Domingo. The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac) recommended to air transport users to strictly observe special measures of risk prevention arranged for the holy week period.
“We call on people who use the air transport specially to the aeronautical staff and to passengers,not to neglect the rules of operational safety,especially in areas with a high concentration of vacationers”, expose Idacs message.
In addition, calls the attention to helicopter users and light aircrafts , and to drones operators, to respect the minimum altitudes on the terrain.
IDACs interim general director Héctor Porcella confirmed that this institution will be operating with a special staff in coordination with the Emergency Operation Center to supervise due compliance with the measure of operational safety during the holy week holiday.
He remembered that the country offers multiple tourist attractions which can be reached by air,and that can be enjoyed through the various platforms and regulated facilities by the dominican aeronautical authorities sector.
