
Santo Domingo. Following its interinstitutional agenda of integration ,the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC),through its Superior Academy of Aeronautical Science (ASCA),signed a cooperation agreement with the Dominican Institute of Aeronautical History (INDOHA), aiming to incentivate the development of culture and projects and the execution of research that favor and promote the perception of history of national aviation.
Some of the contracts terms quote the activities perfomances,such as congress,conferences symposium,workshops, researching of history in joint publications in aeronautical matters information interchange for the development of researching about topics of mutual interest, promoting the aeronautical culture to the development and sensitization of the dominican aeronautical community and the elaboration of documentals and didactical material relates to the history of aviation.
Héctor Porcella,IDAC interim general director , highlighted the significance of this agreement, due that the graphical and written documentation in the future of the involved institution will share, it will have as main beneficiaries to the actors and those interested in topics related to the aeronautic in the Dominican Republic.
“For this Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation is cause of joy to subscribe this agreement of cooperation with the Dominican Institute of of Aeronautical History, an entity born from the needs to keep the memory alive and the documentation of all graphic data and written of our aeronautical system adding to the wide sheet of information that is available in the Superior Academy of Aeronautical Science llibrary, what constitutes a very important step for the involved institutions”,pointed Porcella.
The officer mantained that the will of the general director of IDAC, Román E. Caamaño, had been to propiciate that the civil aviation in the Dominican Republic be an integral entity of good practices, mantaining the high standards of its operational security ,endowing to its technicians,students teaching staff and public in general of the documentation and the professional research that strengthen the didactical knowledgement and practical of what it had been the dominican aviation in all its history
“Thanks to INDOHA managing for trust in the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation to achieve an agreement that benefits all of us,but the most important ,its that it benefits the country. We Promess to accomplish strictly each one of the points in which we assumed our responsabilities and we guarantee that our nascent society it will only provide possitives fruits , as an example, to cooperate with a facility in our place to set up their offices”, pointed out.
The agreement signature, that took place in IDACs Conference Room ,was headed by the interim general director of IDAC Héctor Porcella y Carlos M. Ortega,INDOHA president, ASCA director Clara Fernández, and it was coordinated by Vanessa Byas, in charge of Bonding department, Investigation and Projects of ASCA, Ernesto Tejeda, vicepresident INDOHA, Priscilla Camarena, IDACs Publiblic Relation and Communication among others officers.
