Idac and Global Air Navigation Services Gans sign academic exchange agreement

Punta Cana.- The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation Idac and Global Air Navigation Services Gans signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement a cooperation agreement in training, aimed at the areas of interest of both institutions.

Punta Cana.- The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Idac, and Global Air Navigation Services Gans signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement a cooperation agreement in training, aimed at the areas of interest of both institutions.

The agreement between the Higher Academy of Aeronautical Sciences Asca of I and Global Air Navigation Services Gans of the Arab Emirates was signed by Héctor Porcella, general director of Idac and Yahya Al Hammadi, executive director of Gans, during the third day of the Icao Global Implementation Symposium held in Punta Cana, and contemplates the development of a collaboration and academic exchange program for the benefit of technical personnel and accredited students from both countries.

Along with the heads of the two signatory entities, Bernarda Franco, Legal Director, was present by the Idac; Clara Fernández, Asca director; Claudia Roa, director of Air Navigation; Gender Castro, director of Surveillance and Operational Security, Jasmin Fabré, in charge of Interinstitutional Relations; and for the Emirators: Abdelrahman Almaazmi, director International and Government Affairs; Benny Hansen, Director Operations Development; Dennis Chávez, Head of Training, Gans and Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Manager Operational Training.

One of the objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding is to support cooperation for aviation training in the development and delivery of training programs, as well as explore the exchange of training courses and instructors, marketing and promotion opportunities, and develop joint collaboration.

Idac and Gans will collaborate mutually in the training of skills and instructors, development and/or joint delivery of courses in Human Resources Management (HRM) and in the development of Human Resources (HRD) and its personnel, and the Idac as an entity specialized technician has the responsibility for the supervision and control of civil aviation in the Dominican Republic, with the mission of regulating, certifying, monitoring, providing air navigation services and promoting the sustainable development of civil aviation, supervising compliance with national standards. and international and managing operational safety in the aeronautical activity of the Dominican Republic.

For his part. Gans is a leading provider of air navigation services, serving 18 units, 2 approach and 16 airfields in the UAE, including Abu Dhabi International Airports, handling over 740,000 air traffic movements annually.

Gans Training Center is a training organization approved by the Uae General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA); and is a Regional Training Center of Excellence (RTCE) of the Icao Trainair Plus Program (TPP).
