Idac and Enalas formalizes training agreement to strengthen operational safety in aeronautical sector  
Idac´s interim general director, Héctor Porcella, Enalas general director, Oriolis Castro Sánchez and  Asca director, Clara Fernández,  sign the insterinstutional agreement. 

Santo Domingo.– The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac), and the company Las Americas Aeronautical Training (Enala) formalized an agreement to strengthen  the technical training programs that this institution executes through the Superior Academy of Aeronautical Sciences (Asca). 

When highlighting the agreement importance, Idacs interim general director, Héctor Porcella explained that the main goal it’ll going to be to strengthen the excellence in the operational safety, incentivising the whole technical staff involved in the Dominican aeronautical sector. 

The subscribed document by the parts that consign the interest of  “join efforts to develop the aeronautical staff competence in the academy programs impartation design with the emission of collaborative diploma among these institutions trying to make contributions that contributes to elevate the competitiveness, innovation, efficiency and by way of consequence, promoting the development of civil aviation”. 

Porcella formalized the agreement jointly to the general director of Enalas, Oriolis Castro Sánchez, and Clara Fernández in her capacity of Superior Academy of Aeronautical Sciences (Asca) rector, Idacs specialized educational platform. 

Academicals journeys performing and educational and the activities of teaching training promotions in a jointly way, both nationally and internationally, are part of the compendium of clauses contained in such agreement. 

The interinstitutional cooperation agreement will be coordinated by Vanessa Byas, Asca technical coordinator and by Albert Edison Lara Calvo, executive vice president of Enalas. 

Idac it’s a public entity, specialized and technical, in charge of supervision and civil aviation control in all the Dominican territory, constituted by the pursuant law number 491-06, modified by law number 67-13. 

Enalas is a specialized aeronautical center, recognized as one of the most complete in the Caribbean region, endorsed by IDAC to teach programs in aeronautical personal training in general. 

While Asca is a technical institute of superior studies created, sponsor and managed by Idac, aiming to training and formate qualified humans resources to the provision of services in the aeronautical sector and authorized by the Superior Education in Sciences and Technology (Mescyt) law.
