Idac and Asca sign and interinstitutional agrement with the Indoamerican Educational Corporation from Bogotá

Bogota, Colombia. An unprecedented agreement was signed by the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac) and the Superior Academy of Aeronauticals Science (Asca) with the Indoamerican Educational Corporation (Cei) from Colombia, to promote cooperation programs,training and interinstitutional investigation for the educative development in areas of aeronautical sector.

The agreement was signed by two of the four regional centers of excellence in the instruction accredited in the american continent by the International Civil Aviation Organization (Oaci) under the program Trainair Plus, aiming to develop proyects , activities and joints actions that allow to strengthen the knowledge of the human resource.

By Idac susbscribed the agreement the general subdirector Héctor Porcella, representing the general director Román E. Caamaño, by CEI signed the legal representative Francisco Patiño Fonseca and by Asca, her director Clara Fernández.

After formalizing the interinstitutional pact, Joselyn Zapete and Cristian Huertas, Cei director and Design Programs Unit manager of Trainair Plus, offered a tour around the installations of the Indoamerican Educational Corporation of Colombia that included a visit to its hangar headquarters, where the avionics workshops,engines and fuselage,and the practices of the crewmembers in the A320.

CEI is an aeronautical instruction center with more than 30 years of experience ,with academical programs focused in the training of professional in aviation.

Asca is a technical institute of higher eduaction created, sponsored and directed for Idac by resolution 021/2009, with the aim of forming and train classified human resources to the provision of services in the aeronautical sector.

This important agreement involves an harmonic and functional relationship of the proper activities of the parts that also include a student interchanges, teachers and managers to share interinstitutional experiences.

Both institutions manifest their will to respond with guarantee the scientific and technical challenge that society demands ,with the mutual commitment of the permanent improvement of teaching quality, researcher training and service.
