
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Idac, represented by its general director Román E. Caamaño and the Superior Academy of Aeronautical Sciences, Asca, signed an interinstitutional agreement with Inter Aviation Services Iasca, represented by its director, Juan José Miquilena Ruotolo.
This agreement seeks o join forces after a common goal: to staff training regarding aeronautical services aiming to achieve professionalization, quality and capacities in each one of the cited areas in the document.
Asca actually teaches career of Superior Technician in Air transit Control in aerodrome and Superior Technician in aeronautical Administration, besides follow up courses.Through this agreement the academy will be participating in Cabin Crew Training Programs,Fly Dispatchers ,Professional Airlines Agents and some other courses of Professional Airlines Agents and other courses of professional improvement.
Idac´s general director Román Caamaño, who spoke a few words in the act, poundered the importance of this agreement and appreciated Iasca trust in Asca teaching capacity.
In that sense,Caamaño manifested that the main interest of this interinstitutional cooperation agreement is that in the future,they be part of the programs and some other of professional improvement that are being taught in Iasca, opening a wider range of oportunities to interested young people in opening a field in the word of civil aviation.
“We appreciated the trust placed in us as civil aeronautical authorities in the Dominican Republic, in the teaching staff capacities of our academy and in the modern facilities that this offer for practical and theorical teaching of all courses and programs in trainning that we will develop, motivated for this opportune interinstitutional cooperation agreement”, added Idac´s bearer.
Likewise, Asca director emphasized that the agreement signed with Inter Aviation Services praise the mission of both entities, by representing a relevant role to develop the aeronautical competences of aeronautical staff and to contribute to the productivity and competitiviness of national and international civil aviation.
Following the same line, Miquilena Ruotolo enphasized that “from our institution we thanks to the dominican aeronautical authority for having believed in our students, because we are the tools, but they are the future. I think that Asca got a great future ahead,because aviation word it is growing in a gigantic way and this is a cornerstone of this system in the Dominican Republic, and each day takes giant steps,becoming in a referer to the region”.
Accompanied to Caamaño in the activity Asca director Clara Fernández and too ,by Idac: Bernarda Franco, Legal director; Priscilla Camarena, Communication and Public Relationship director; Jasmín Fabré, in charge of Interinstitutional Relationship and Vanessa Byas,ASCA Technical Coordinator coordinator.
Miquilena Ruotolo was accompanied by Iasca Cabin crew and some other collaborators of the institution.
