Punta de Caucedo.- Idacs interim general dirctor, Héctor Porcella, reported that the entity, through its speciallized  academy in aeronautical instruction, will train to haitian technicians that they will be operating in a new control tower that its building in  Puerto Príncipe with the Interamerican Development Bank (Idb) financing. 

The announcement occurred during the visit to the Asca facilities in   Punta Caucedo, where Idacs authorities received the Interamerican Development Bank entourage and from National Civil Aviation Office (Ofnac) from Haiti, as well as, the Ministry of Public Work and Transportation delegation of the neighbouring country. 

The Superior Academy of Aeronautical Sciences (Asca) will start in the next few months the training of several complete courses of Air traffic Control in aerodrome, Approach Control, among other training that are taught  in this studies center, sponsored by the Idb. 

Porcella and the general director of National Civil Aviation Office of Haiti, Laurent Joseph Dumas, subscribed  an agreement  of  institutional cooperation through Asca, through which  they agreed  to continuous improving  the collaboration  and the technical  assistance related with the coordination to the  provision of services to Air Transit an/or Air Navigation between both States  and provide support to make more fluid air transit services. 

Additionally , due to the technical instruction development in the Dominican Republic and as Idac is the leader in the region in training matters through  Asca, it will provide assistance related with civil aviation to the Republic of Haiti, which it will includes the training and education of aviation students and aeronautical management air traffic control, among other.

Punta Caucedo.- Asca will start in the next few months  the training of several complete courses of Air Transit Control in Aerodrome, Approaching Control by Procedure, among other courses teaching in the centre of studies, all  of which it will be sponsored by Idb. 

Ofnac and Idb delegation was integrated by  Benito Dumay, Program director of Ministry of Public Work Transportation and Commuications; Raphael Dewez, specialist in transportation of Idb; Joseph Jacques Boursiquot, coordinator of projects and international links of Ofnac; Fabrice Dugas, operation senior analyst and specialist in transportation and ; Víctor Alain Bijou, jointly coordinator of projects of the Ministry of Public Works; Jean Pierre Paddeu, projects manager of Thales; Alain Gat, project manager of Paris airport ; Loic, Raquin, projects  director of Paris Airport; Christophe Gardell, of Paris Airport ; Gaétan Youance, Central Unit of Execution of the Ministry of Public Works and Eslyn Jean-Baptiste, Follow up Cordinator, Planning , Evaluation and Execution of the Ministry of Public Works of  Haiti.
