DR presents in USA its new offer to attract private international tourism aviation   

Lakeland, United States.  The new protocol presented by tourism cabinet and approved by  president  Luis Abinader to attract private tourism aviation from USA and Canada  place the Dominican Republic as the best growth  tourism perspective  in aviation in Latin America. 

The proposal to attract a higher flow of tourist linked to private aviation  was presented by the general director interim  of the Dominican Instiute of Civil Aviation (Idac) Héctor Porcella, during 2022 Sun and Fun edition,the second most important fair of aviation in USA, celebrated in Florida. 

Porcella, who shared the stage with Airport Department director, Víctor Pichardo and some other  sector authorities highlighted,that the Dominican Republic  counts with  8 internationals airports , 23 domestic, and the best tourist  in all the region attractives catalog. 

During his participation in the international event, the dominican representation  exhibited a very attractive pavellion with the various strengths and facilities that offers the country to private international aviation. 

The dominican pavillion counted with the auspices of  Tourism Ministry, Airport Department and with Idac,as a part of a State strategy  to place the country as one of main tourism aviation destiny  in the continent. 

Porcella, Pichardo and  other members of national delegation,participated  in a seminar offered by mister  Jim Parker,american  private aviation promoter, with the presence of a group of  50 pilots interested in fliyng to the caribbean and the Dominican Republic. 

Tourism aircraft market of USA and Canada toward the Caribbean represents more than   20,000 private aircrafts,in a time that the dominican government is focused in creating  the conditions to attracts  that important segment of international tourism explained  Héctor Porcella.  

He remembered that the Dominican Republic  counts with excellents hotels installations, a natural enviromment with mountains up to  10 feet high and with several of the beauties beaches in the caribbean, besides the modern communication systems  and aerial traffic toward  27 destinations in USA, operated by and efficient aeronautical service  an airport .
