Santo Domingo. – The Dominican Crewmembers cabin association declared that the country commercial aviation it is as its best moment for the remarkable growing of air traffic, because of new sector investment and the strengthening of tecnification standards and the operational safety in the aeronautical activity.
Alfredo Hernández, entity president and with more than 43 years in The industry, made the remark when motivating a recognition to the general director of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Idac, Héctor Porcella,to who he defined as a public officer engaged with transparent spirit and service vocation that has put into practice president Luis Abinader since his first day in government.
“The great work done by the Idacs authorities, jointly with other sector institutions, has not only contributed to energizes the aviation development in all its aspects, to generate too employments opportunities to young cabin crewmembers’ that now can make reality their dreams to work for certificates new airlines in the country ”, pointed Hernández.
When accepting the award, Porcella affirmed that civil aviation has experimented a growing up to a 100%, which is evidenced in the arrival of new investors who trust in the Dominican aeronautical system and in the recertification of airlines that has renewed their aircraft fleet due to the dynamism of the sector.
“To us, is a great challenge and this recognition fills us with satisfaction cause it is telling us that we are doing well ,following the guidelines outlined by president Abinader to work in a transparent way avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy ” pointed Porcella.
Hernández, who started his labor participation in aviation in 1978 through Dominican Aviation Company, directs the certified aeronautic center of crewmembers VIP, has devoted a large part of his professional exercise to technicians training and to specialized staff to Dominican aeronautical.
During the award delivery, he was accompanied of several young people trained as cabin crewmembers and programs training facilitator in that aviation area.
