
Punta Caucedo, Santo Domingo. The Colombian Civil Aviation general director, Jair Orlando Fajardo,highlighted the achieved advances by the dominican civil aviation as a fundamental platform to substain the touristical development in the country.
Fajardo, who is visiting the Dominican Republic actually,made the comment after touring the facilities of the Punta Caucedo Aviation Complex and to Superior Academy of Aeronautic Science (Asca) , accompanied by the general director Interim of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac) Hector Porcella.
The Colombian officer praised the equipment quality and the operative platform that dominican technician operate in the Air Traffic Control placed in Norge Botello complex,besides the State of the Art technology that support the training and the operative training job perform by Asca.
Porcella, who headed the Fajardos guided tour,claimed that the technical training and the operational security, actually represent the main priorities of Idac management to ensure substainability in civil aviation advances in the Dominican Republic.
Jointly with Porcella Fajardo was accompanied by Air Navigation director, Claudia Roa; Fly Rule director , Pedro Alberto Piña; Asca director, Clara Fernández; Julio César Mejía,Air Navigation Technician Coordinator; and Rafael Reyes,general manager of Airport Teams Solutions, SRL, who offered explanations about theirs respectivelly areas of responsabilities.
While Fajardo was accompanied by his wife Lina María Muñoz and Frederic Cuq, Account manager of Civil Bussines of Thales Enterprises,based in Colombia.
