The Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (Idac) has received a new certification for compliance with the universal accessibility policies of the Dominican State, for Web users with disabilities.
The general director Román E. Caamaño received the certification of the Office & nbsp; Presidential Information and Communication Technology (Optic), which together with the National Disability Council (Conadis), are the bodies empowered to issue these certifications and represent one more achievement for the institution that regulates civil aviation in the country.
“After greeting you, we are pleased to inform you that the institution that you so worthily directs has complied with the guidelines established in the rule on Web Accessibility of the Dominican State (Nortic B2: 2018)”Is expressed in the communication signed by Pedro A. Quezada, CEO of OPTIC.
The Institutional portal www.idac.gob.do and the Transparency subportal www.idac.gob.do/transparencia, are the Web media, certified by Optic, under the Nortic BA2: 2018 standard.
The Director of Information Technologies of Idac Raúl Muñoz explained the importance of the certifications received, highlighting the encouragement of the general director Román E. Caamaño so that electronic systems are updated in accordance with the established standards.
