
Punta Caucedo.- The Higher Academy of Aeronautical Sciences, Asca, of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, Idac, in fulfillment of its mission of training and educating aeronautical personnel in the Region, trained Air Traffic Control instructors of the Cuban Air Navigation Company, in the training of Instruction Methodology in Air Traffic Service Simulators, ATS.
In this training, Cuban technical personnel were able to acquire the necessary skills to prepare and conduct instruction in ATS simulators, applying appropriate techniques, according to the required methodological precepts.
The training lasted 70 hours, divided into both theoretical and practical hours and was instructed by experts César Martínez Vicioso, Darwin Cordero, Ramón Emilio Abreu and Breydys Tapia.
The instruction concluded with a certificate ceremony, in which the participants showed a high level of satisfaction with the professionalism of the academy’s instructors and the quality of the contents of the modules developed.
