
Punta Caucedo.- The Dominican Association of Aeronautical Information Specialists (Adeia) celebrated the 25th anniversary of its foundation with a mass and an emotional ceremony during which it recognized its past presidents and the general director of Idac Héctor Porcella.
The president of Adeia, Javier Gómez, stated that this union has the valuable support of its members, thanks to a series of initiatives executed in a timely manner, such as programs focused on improving their quality of life, mutual aid and their representation. in union events and events related to civil aviation at a national and international level.

“Today we can affirm that every effort and every minute dedicated to our association has been worth it. Yes, we have a long way to go, challenges and great achievements pending, like the issue of the special race. As far as we are concerned, we will continue to do our best for the benefit of both our members and the dominican aeronautical sector,” said Gómez.
During the Eucharist of the 25 years of Adeia, officiated by the parish priest Pedro Mateo in the main hall of the Higher Academy of Aeronautical Sciences (Asca), nine former presidents of the association were recognized, in addition to the general director and the director of Air Navigation from Idac, Héctor Porcella and Claudia Roa, respectively.

“It is necessary to recognize the great support that we have always received from the Idac authorities, represented by its general director, Héctor Porcella Dumas, for the high quality of their contributions to institutional strengthening and development, and from the entire national aeronautical sector; also for its strong support for the technical class and, with it, promoting stability and strengthening of the union.”
Adeia currently has 139 members, representing Flight Information Service (Fis), Mapping, Air Traffic Controllers, Search and Rescue, Flight Information Center (Fic) and management technicians. Operational Safety Oversight (DVSO).
