
Punta Caucedo.- The interim general director of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation Idac, Héctor Porcella delivered the Official Certificate of Air Operator, Aoc, to lower prices dominican airlines, Arajet, by it which accredits to that airlines for commercial air transport operation,as an instrument of operational security .
Additionally, Porcella delivered to Víctor Pacheco Méndez, Arajet president, the Operation Specification, a complementary instrument that Idac as authority defines and limits the operations to each aircraft model of air operator.
“Since that moment on, Arajet is formally authorized to perform regulars and not regulars air operations, charter flies, air cargo and mail. Equally, this certification empower to this airlines to formalize business with any other airlines,of any part of the world,always under guardianship of civil aviation authorities involved”,held Porcella.
Arajet president explained that this certification is the materialization of five years of hard work, that “allow us to turn in a national airlines and to offer the dominican diaspora and to all our north passengers , Center, South America,and the Caribbean, direct flies from and to Santo Domingo with low prices, a world class service and the best punctuality”.
“We are very proud and optimistic to have received the Idac’s operations certificate.Our commitment , hand with hand with our investors,is to guarantee the financial and operational success , to take to the highest and farthest to the Dominican Republic, strengthening its air connectivity and opening biggest opportunitities to the commercial and touristical development ”concluded Pacheco Méndez.
Arajet had regularized its certification after exhausting complex detailed of legal and regulatory structural process of evaluation, validations and trainning, as well as supervision and approval of their manuals, to their technical staff, to their operation equipment and operation supports , as well as normal procedure and emergency that guarantee the effectiviness and operations security.
The IDACs interim general director urged to Arajet executives to operate “adhering to the rules and principles in the operational safety, with responsability and proud,because when climbing the worlds skies you represent undoubtedly,an economic facilitator of productivity,connectivity of markets and,at the same time,an engine of social and economic growing to the passenger”.
Arajets certification turn in a new commercial achievement, both to the company as well to the benefits and contributions that its operations will represent in favor of the national economy and the tourism.
With this milestone for national aviation,the country will strengthen its air connectivity, dynamizing key sectors of national economy as the tourism and commerce,among other.
Arajet will be starting in a progressive way its operation to different destination in the north,Center and South America and the Caribbean , starting at the end of july and the beginning of august.
Porcella added that “The dominican civil aeronautical it gets stronger everytime and a proof of that is this airlines that today received its Air Operator Certificate, Aoc, it will use aircraft Boeing model B737 MAX last generation and highly competitive , within a modern aeronautical market that demands security and confort”
To the official delivery act of the certificate of air operator, Aoc,to Arajet airlines, besides Porcella and Pacheco Méndez, attended airlines collaborators and executives; Mónika Infante, general director of Dominican Airports 21 Century, Aerodom; by Idac’s, side directors of Fly Navigation , Pedro A.
